Born in the US and raised in the Dominican Republic, Olivia De Camps is a writer-director based in New York with a BFA in Film and Television from NYU Tisch. Merging fiction and documentary, her work explores the beauty and complexities of women in Latin America and the Caribbean—often unheard and seldom explored in cinema. Olivia’s debut short film, CHICO VIRTUAL starring Jaden Michael, has been screened in numerous festivals and was acquired by HBO/Max.

She has also served as a Creative Producer for Vogue’s first Virtual Runway - the first ever fashion show in the metaverse. Olivia has directed several music videos, including the recent single for Rodney Chrome, featured in Paper Magazine and Variety.

Her debut feature film, shooting in the Dominican Republic, is currently in development.
